The intake originally came with that bracket but it's since been used on the Nova and doesn't come with the current offering. I believe it was the typical aftermarket (bought) bracket and was bent up like that so the return spring would clear the throttle cam a bit better.

If it wasn't one made by the friend who sold me the intake, then it could be from this seller as I know he bought some stuff from this site. Maybe contact this guy and ask for a pic of his spring return bracket Dave?

Maybe Mike (RSZMJT) will chime in and let you know the details on that return spring bracket. He might have made that one.
