The above advertisement indicates the availability of the LS5 in the Malibu too. I was never aware of that, if Chev actually followed thru. I've never seen or heard of one. Anybody ever see one ?

No. The LS5 and LS6 were SS 454 only. Biggest engine option for the Malibu would be the 400/330 HP.

Yep, need new glasses. I missed the SS only notation...

I also have a documented Malibu 400 cranberry red convertible car . They are fairly rare for sure
