Cool old school kids' Shelby Racing Jacket by Revell - Orange 1970

Hey sYc Friends, way cool find here, IMHO.

First off, it's a kids' size. See photos for sizing via tape measure, no size on the tag, but it's small, maybe for a ten year old?

See the first photo for full description. And note that the offer expired 12-31-71 so it's at least 47.5 years old!

It is in GREAT shape and the zipper works smooth and it has several vintage patches all hand sewn. It's got some wear and the orange-side hem is partially resewn, again, by hand. Clean smelling and no smoke smell.

And has a rare Ontario Motor Speedway patch! Local jacket to SoCal since new.

$300 PP F&F shipped priority to the 48. If it doesn't sell, I'll keep it until my boy grows into it.

I've never seen another, nor heard of this until I found it.

Cool piece Anthony. So wrt:"Clean smelling and no smoke smell.", you will guarantee that the OO of this jacket at ~10 yrs old was a non-smoker! ;>))


Come to think of it, I started smoking at EIGHT yrs old!! Probably wouldn't get a dime for clothes I wore back then. LOL!

Hah, no guarantees, just that it's been long enough for any odors to dissipate enough that I can no longer smell them...

I started smoking these at about six I think... only stopped 'cause they discontinued them as I recall.
