^ the question is WHERE was this taken? What sort or activity? Infield at a NASCAR race? (Those are 73 Michigan plates, they were used through 75.)
The next question is did this one survive?

I love this thread. I have been wanting to post some pictures but haven't made time. So far this is all I have.
This was my uncle's 1969 Torino GT. It had a 390 with a 4 speed. These were taken in 1971...I was 7 at the time. I remember him coming home on leave from the Air Force and picking me up (early in the morning), taking me to my other uncle's house out in the country. He would really rip through those country roads...90mph+. The blinkers on the hood scoop were the coolest thing EVER!! Here are a couple of pics. |
