Re: 67 W023 Coronet
I was referring to Roy's WO Hemi, but Kool that yours may have been sold from there too.
Larry Wiener has many of the Norm's dealer files. |

Re: 67 W023 Coronet
Don't know that Mr. Norm is an idiot; maybe he was having a bad day or thought you were some young "whippersnapper" pestering him for free info. Regardless, that isn't the gist of this thread or my comment. That Silver car looks like one clean car and very nice build. Now, back to Roy's thread:
Congrats on the find and WOW! What a car! What are your plans other than an engine and a spiff? Nostalgia Drags? Survivor show? Is the car as good as the pictures represent? I'm really into the nostalgia drag racing and have two "pretty good" (absolutely NOT bragging) cars myself. Good luck on whatever avenue you pursue and please keep us up to date on any progress.

... then I figured he was an idiot, and continued with my projects ...
Actually, Norm was a pretty smart "idiot" ... seems odd that he shut you down -- usually he would talk to anyone when the conversation was about MoPars. TAZ

Re: 67 W023 Coronet
There are no records/dealer files for anything earlier than 69 available from Larry. There was a fire in 68 that destroyed a lot of that paperwork.
Even at that - Larry was not able to rescue all the 69 and up paperwork from the warehouse across the street due to water damage. mold etc. Norm was one of the first "marketers" and a car salesman supremo......he remembers a lot of the early 60's S/Stockers....and the SS Darts - which many of almost got taken out in that fire..... |
