Default '69 RS/Z, Heater Delete

Nice restoration on a car originally delivered to Hawaii, without a heater. Bid to $125k in this year's Mecum Indy auction and now being offered for $139,900.

It's interesting to see Jerry's inspection report from prior to the car's restoration. More interesting IMO than what you'd see if he had inspected the car after restoration.

Is '69 C48 Camaro Production known also what of other existing genuine C48 Z28's?

CRG's options list PDF shows no data for 1969 MY under RPO C48, with the notation that defroster (and therefore heater) was federally-mandated from 1968. The 1968 RPO C48 quantity shown in that spreadsheet was for export cars not subject to the federal requirement. So with this car apparently ordered for delivery in Hawaii, I'd think the heater would still have been required, and therefore may not be a factory RPO?

Probably 30 years ago while on vacation in Hawaii I stopped at Herman's auto Wreckers on Maui and he pulled a heater delete off a 69 Camaro for me. I think he charged me 100.00.

Defrosters were required on continental US cars - Hawaii cars were exempt.
C48 didn't appear on the window sticker, it somehow was wrapped into the export prep option.

C48 '69 Camaros have also been observed in the Philippines.
