Default Clean 57 Bel Air two door sedan

Seems like there are very few cars for sale on ebay without a silly reserve.

Owner of this one says it will sell at no reserve. Really clean car, mostly stock, but with a few mods. Only thing I can see to nit pick, is someone isn't very good at installing a headliner. Easy to fix in an afternoon though.

Not sure I understand the seller stating that it's for sale locally for $76K if it's on eBay at no reserve?

I agree. But I sent him a message and he says the auction is running its course, and will sell to the highest bidder on ebay.

Guess we will see.

Think the guy will actually sell it if it bids to high 20s?

I don’t based on the fact it “sold” for $29,700 a week or so ago:

Also, it’s a private listing so you can’t see who the bidders are.

Don't know the seller. Never met him. Just sent a few messages through ebay.

I still think the guy is legit. He added this language to the current auction that was NOT in the previous auction: "IF YOU NEED TO TALK TO WIFE BEFORE YOU BID DO SO OR HUSBAND SPOUSE WHOEVER DONT BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE HOW BID AND CANT BUY…………"

I would bet he had a non paying bidder. I could be wrong.

I see big money being asked for Tri Five Chevies these days, but don't see those big numbers actually changing hands. I think the market is soft compared to the later 60's through 71 muscle cars.

I would have to buy this one if it were Tropical Turquoise with a white top. That's what I had in HS.
