Default 1969 1970 NK1 Black Comfort Grip Steering Wheel - Camaro Chevelle Nova

Hi sYc Friends, I've also just listed a nice black comfort grip steering wheel on eBay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/143377856977

No reserve, thanks again.
Anthony

What's the black overspray on it? Has it been redyed/painted?

Hi Joe, the stuff on the spokes nearest the grip is the general gunk that accumulates on all well handled items in cars, we've all seen it, just from hands and oils and dust and stuff - rubs off with a paper towel with little effort and, I believe is a sign of some use / age... There is a dusting of overspray over the front face of the spokes, but it looks purple in real life, maybe over spray from a body shop, which we've also all seen, you can feel it and it would also likely wash off the stainless easily with some thinner or acetone nail polish remover maybe. Not sure if it's paint or primer though.

I left the wheel as-is so the buyer knows what they're getting. If someone had a steady hand, I suppose they could try steel wool, but that is likely too much IMHO. Grip does not appear painted or stained / dyed to my eye.

Thanks,
Anthony

I see you have BB PS brackets. I'm looking for a complete PS set-up for a 70 Nova 396.
What do you have?
Thanks, Steve.

Hi Steve, do you know what version that model uses? (Anyone feel free to chime in please) - are they like 69 Camaro BB PS brackets or 70 Chevelle? i.e. three pieces or two? If you know which you need / want, send me some pics to match pieces to and I'll dig around.

Thanks,
Anthony

I'm not sure myself but will assume like 69 Camaro. Will wait and see if anyone chimes in.
Thanks, Steve.

Hi sYc Gang, who will give me $150 shipped PPFF for this wheel today here?

Many members can attest that I list as clearly as possible and play everything down... that said, this is a nice wheel. And real, not a repop - see the markings on the back in photos.

First come, first served as the saying goes.

Thanks all,
Anthony

Wait! I just picked up again and noticed the metal band around the rim is missing - and there's a mark at three o'clock and purple overspray at nine o'clock.

Now $100 PPFF today.

Thanks again everyone, just want to see someone use this.
