Notice the way the factory applied the crossed flag decal crooked on the air breather. goes to show that the object was to get them down the line. My original car has a fender support bolt that was cross threaded from the factory and simply run halfway in, rather than tapping the hole and properly installing a replacement. Also has a Firebird trunk decal sticker.

I guess the original owner drilled those holes in the bottoms of the rockers to promote drainage and prevent rust. Or was that done for some kind of undercoating?

I like redlines and steelies, but I would be in a hurry to put some vintage torque thrusts or Cragars on that car. Luv everything else about it!! That 325 hp stick would be fine with me.
