Default Car sold at Yenko Chevrolet?

Good evening. A friend of mine bought a 1966 Impala SS in North Carolina last year that looks to be all original. It has a Yenko emblem on the trunk lid and we both are wondering if it could have indeed been sold from the Yenko dealership in PA. Is there any way to find out for sure?

Get a shipping report from the NCRS and it should tell you the dealership it was sold new at. Good luck!

I would love to see a better pic of the emblem, wondering if the area surrounding the blue Yenko letters is silver or gold?

I doubt that the NCRS will have anything on Full Sized cars. I've tried, but give it a shot and see if maybe they've found something over the past few years.

as far as I can tell, the first use of the Yenko crest emblem is 1968

SYC thread w/ B-Body/NCRS subject discussed here previously...
https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=148770

I may be wrong but wasn't there another thread w/ someone who sent their VIN alone and got the reply back w/ Dealer info?
Best ask Rick as he'd be onto them if available.

Don't forget that NCRS reports will only show you the dealer that the car was shipped to from GM. Doesn't mean that dealer is the one that ended up selling the car.

Hello,
NCRS has shipping records information for only Corvettes, Camaros and Chevelles.
No other models.

Found the post I was thinking of, not a B-Body but '70 Monte...which aren't on the NCRS list either.
