It is amazing Don was able to order those tires on the Yenko Chevelles

That was a large tire for a new 1969 Chevelle.

Yenko SportsCar COPO 9737 15x7 Z/28 wheel with the special order F70x15 GoodYear GT tires.
same size tire as the 69 Corvette (but not same tire) and one size wider then the E70 Z/28 tires

I think Yenko got the best wheels and tires he can for the Yenko Chevelles using the COPO program

Agreed but it really sucks when you have to try and find a set to make a perfect restoration. Can't be many of these left and certainly not in the condition I found these in.

Rainer, yes but the list has greatly diminished. I need to make time to post a wanted add, maybe today. Drip rail moldings, inside/outside rear view mirror, shifter boot (3 ribbed), quarter window chrome and rubber, 15" trim rings and NOS rear hood chrome are about all I can think of for now.

No it did not. Someone correct me if I am wrong but I believe that was a dealer installed only option.

The first showing of the Chevelle in an "under construction" process. Seemed to be well received. Thanks to Jamie and Joe for getting the car there and setting it up and Brian and Joey for supplying all the signage. I take the car back to the shop in two weeks and then crash more nights and weekends to get it assembled as 95% if those parts are restored and ready to assemble.
