Donna Mae Mims "the Pink Lady of Racing " who was part of Yenko SportsCars High Perforance and racing history

Raced a pink Yenko Stinger

raced Corvettes and Camaros and other cars

1979 Corvette for sale on craigslist for $99500

she made the national news when her body was displayed sitting behind the wheel of this car in the funeral home

first woman to win the SCCA championship in 1963, driving a 1959 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite.

Sure enough, there is a picture of her in this car inside the funeral home during the visitation hours. Not sure you want to see that, but here is a vintage picture. She is on far right.

I get the strong association with the car, but that is kinda macabre....
