1968 z28 convertible a "no sale" for $1 million
I was at the Mecum auction in Rockford Illinois today when they auctioned off the 1968 z28 convertible originally owned by Pete Estes of GM. The car was a no sale with a closing bid of $1 million against a reserve of $1.5 million. I'm ready to go----beam me up Scotty.

Re: 1968 z28 convertible a "no sale" for $1 million
from a post on 4-8-03:
"If it was being sold At Scottsdale-for sure. It will be close. Any body want to guess? Ok I will go out on a branch $850K and it will be a no sale." Close but still a no sale. 1.5 million - Perhaps in January. Lets see if it goes back to the block at Barriett Jackson. Phil |
