Default 1969 Corvette L46 AC 4 speed found by tom 406 update

Thanks to tom406's earlier post in November about a one owner 1969 Corvette L46 AC 4 speed he was appraising which was near myself and a C3 loving friend of mine. It had been ordered new Alan Green Chevrolet which was the largest Corvette and high performance dealer in Seattle area during the 60's plus the original Alan Green window sticker was still with the car. I had spoke to tom 406 about the car and he was nice enough to notify me when it was listed it on Seattle's Craigs List several months later. With minimum arm twisting I convinced my friend we needed to look at it. The owners liked us and and my friend made a deal to buy the car. It is not very often one finds such a nicely preserved original Corvette like this with original paint, glass interior, engine, transmission, rear end all Chevrolet dealer service records. The car had been parked since 1985 in a nice clean painted floor garage. We scared the seller as we were jacking up the rear end to peak underneath it and the tires which were firmly stuck to the floor finally let go sounding like two fire crackers going off.
Attached are some pictures of the car leaving the garage after 36 years, on the lift at my house, all four of the T3s, pictures of the before and after of the rear license plate getting down to the original year renewal stickers along with the Alan Green license plate frames. The brakes did not work so the original calipers and master cylinder are getting re-sleeved. After changing the oil, putting some Marvel Mystery Oil in the spark plug holes, new plugs, points, and condenser we got the car running by pouring gas down the carburetor due to the fuel pump was not working and the screen for the gas tank sending unit is plugged. All the fiber optics still work, along with the windows, tilt column, horn and all four original T3 headlights. The fuel pump has been sent out to Fred Ballard to rebuild in it natural condition and a the new fuel sending unit is coming shortly. I will try to answer all question and provide updates on its journey of driving down the road again. The selling party was also nice enough to provide the new owner with three pictures when the car was new. The car came with all its paperwork which included the window sticker, original order sheet, owners manual, protector plate, AMFM radio sheet, radio knob antenna information tag, headlight washers information sheet, trim ring instruction card even though the car was ordered with hubcaps. In 1973 the original owners installed the luggage rack. We do have all the ignition shielding that was for some reason taken off but will be put back on the car soon. Thanks Mike

Default Paperwork that came with the car

Paperwork that came with the car. Interesting the car with the trim ring card even though it was ordered with the optional PO2 wheel covers
