Default Gorgeous '69 Chevelle #s L78 4-sp Convertible

Another beautiful car where the seller is claiming an original block with no pics. Great looking car, but no docs and a replacement Muncie...would sure be helpful to see that engine pad pic. I'll ask the seller if he can provide one.

The trim tag is missing the L code, and the tag also looks way too crisp to me.

Good call on the L code...personally I believe it's an original tag as it has the right Baltimore anomalies, but I'd also expect to see the L on a Super Sport car.

The seller is in Germantown, WI, a short drive for me. Don't know much about '69 Chevelles but would volunteer to go there for a look.

I thought the L was only on Leeds cars?

The L code was used on Kansas City Mo. Leeds Assembly plant tags, not Baltimore,as this one has.

1969 Chevelle Baltimore tags also had the L code for SS equipped cars. 1969 only.

Man, I thought so too. So, the BM would become BL, correct?
