Default 66 Malibu Survivor Flip

I had to laugh. Obviously the seller is flipper that’s been trying to buy the car for long time. Finally convinced owner to sell. Gets owner to possibly believe he will restore the car or it will be in good hands. and two days later. On eBay with no reserve.

No real value in my opinion unless you are keeping it as is. and buying it at current price.

Automatic on column. Malibu. You can’t restore it and not be upside down. and so you have to leave it which is right thing. But value? Maybe $17K

Totally agree. Guilty pleasure when I see flippers ending up upside-down on a deal.

This particular guy has a habit of posting the cars with pictures and videos of the previous owners. He rubs me the wrong way because, I highly doubt he gets their consent to blast this content all over the internet. Probably tells them he is going to fix the car up and wants the history of it etc. Seems like he is taking advantage of these people. Just my thoughts.

Love this car! I would throw some Corvette Ralleys or torque thrusts on it and drive the crap out of it.

I hate flippers they are ruining the hobby for the people that really care about
Owning a muscle car or any old car .
And the fraudulent dealings with the owner of the car.
Who thinks they are going to take good care of the vehicle (and or restore it.)
So sick of these lying A-Holes.

With a bold face lie like that, all else s suspect!!
But, the exterior and engine bay remind me A LOT of the '67 wagon project I just finished. Same desert grime on everything! Might surprise how well it would clean up.
Current bids are well into all the money range though! - Bill W
