Default 67 impala ss 396/325 breather and oil cap

What brand/color breather and oil fill cap on the pass. Side valve cover, came from the factory on a 67 impala ss 396/325 engine? Thanks, jeff

I believe they were both chrome, the cap being a Stand and the breather being possibly stamped with AC.

Hi rick, i believe all 67 impala ss 396/325hp cars came from the factory with orange valve covers. Would orange valve covers also have a chrome breather and oil fill cap on the pass. Side? Thanks, jeff

X-2 on the orange valve covers and I remember the breather and oil fill cap to be black.

My mistake. I was assuming the 396 in the Super Sport would have chrome covers like the pictured Z24 427. I did not have any 396 cars in my database to compare to. I would have thought the Super Sport cars would have had chrome covers.
