Been hanging onto these Firestone Drag 500's that Tony hooked me up with a couple years ago but needed to find another set of wheels to mount them up on. Found this set of polished Centerline's a couple weeks ago and the slicks are now mounted up and ready for display. Need to dig out a Firestone display stand and will keep these in my shop now.

That white stuff on the tire is snow as I just rolled them into the shop. We got about a foot of snow here the last 24 hours and it's still coming down.

Just went on that day! Feel like Fred Flinstone's meats back there for the first few blocks til they get some heat. Jim said he ran 'em on Woodward sometimes but the hubcaps weren't much of a disguise for the regulars and they were hard on parts compared to the redlines, which didn't offer much resistance ...

Of note ...

The tight shot ^^ of the slick was taken by our own yenko.net local, Keith Seymore, at the '08 Dream Cruise (good one, Keith!).
