I am a little confused because the heads look to be the later style without the plugs on the end but the car's engine looks to be a 1968 build date. Am I wrong with the information that the later style heads were introduced in June 1969? Beautiful car either way.

If the 6/68 intake is correct for the motor, the heads would be too late. Then again ive seen 842s with the plug milled off and filled smooth, but you would think on this particular car theyd want to get that detail right. What an unbelievable color combination.

-----This seller also has a 67 SS427 convert for sale, and I believe I have seen both cars at B/J within the last two years. Sort of gives you an idea how much the guy must have in them. They both had a very nice appearance but I didnt look any deeper than that.......Bill S

Thats my old car that I bought it from the original owner hense the Delaware license plate. Its 100% real. The head on one side was changed under warranty. It was the son of the dealerships demo for the spring and summer of 69. I'm not pleased with the resto as they overdid alot of markings and it sits 4 wheel drive , but a very nice car. It was sold at Mecum last fall. I sold it to pursue the Red L-89 4spd conv thats now at Supercar being done.

This car has been on ebay 3 or 4 times now....sooner or later he's going to finally realize that it's just not worth that kind of money. Just my .02 cents.
