This is an original GM Holley 4 barrel carburetor. The numbers stamped into the choke tower are as follows: 3959164 List 4346 804. The 3959164 is the GM part number. The List 4346 is the Holley part number. The 804 is the date code which decodes as the fouth week of October 1968. The Holley 4346 carburetor was installed by Chevrolet on the following applications: 1969 Camaro, Chevelles, and Novas with the L78 396/375HP or L89 396/375HP engine, and 1969 Chevrolet fullsize cars with the L72 427/425HP engine. This was also used on 1969 COPO and Yenko Camaros and Chevelles with the L72 427/425HP engine.

This carburetor is in very good original condition as shown. The factory plating is still in nice shape with the proper goldish green sheen. The carburetor is complete with all parts including the choke components. All parts move and are not stuck/seized. The metering blocks are stamped 5583 on the front block and 4519 on the rear block. The only repair I see if a small split in the rear vent tube boss. The tube looks to have been epoxied in place long ago and it is a solid, proven repair. This would be a great carburetor to rebuild as a survivor type carb or restore for your show stopper.
