I had a chance to visit Mr Skillmans toy box last July. Yea the cars are neat but the building is a real piece of art. The floor is very impressive and it is very clean in there. Dan did you notice the conferance room on the second floor and the two hotel type rooms up there. The body shop is as good as any dealerships with the most up to date tools and booth. I think there were 8 bays in the back with a drive on dyno in the floor. And then the transport vehicles in the back he must have had at least 4 trailers and tow vehicles and 2 or 3 multi vehicle transportes all new. I don't believe this collection is open to the public.

Rick,

Did you happen to notice the lack of GREEN cars in this collection

Dan.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's cause I've got most of 'em.

Dan, I was of course interested in seeing the WHITE L-78 70 Camaro(saw the 6500/700 tach). Do you happen to know what RPO the Hugger Orange L-78 was ?????

I am forwarding this thread onto Mike S who is trying to gather info for the 70 Camaro L-78 registry

Interested to know the bio on Ray Skillman

Makes Kevin Suydams collection look small!

Thanks so much for sharing. I gather this is never open to the common folk ???????

His website says the white Camaro is a 396/350 horse.

"His website says the white Camaro is a 396/350 horse"

Interesting.......as the tach sure appears to be the one year only L-78 6500 Redline/7000 Max. Please correct me if you SEE otherwise.

Either way, it's a beautiful car. I have no idea if it's real or not but the color combo is awesome.

I like this one.

who knows these stripes? was the thin upper line that goes over the wheel wells part of this D96 stripe option? or were there two different stripe options in 67?
