Default 124379L528650 - Z/28 Barrett Jackson

Took a look at this car in person today. I’m no expert, but this cowl tag is not original, right?

I don't know about the tag but Daytona yellow always had black striping no matter the top or interior color...Joe

Yeah, they specifically said that during the restoration the decision was made to paint the stripes white to match the vinyl top. They were originally black.

Agree. The ad acknowledges that fact: "Also during the restoration the decision was made to change the color of the stripes from black to white, which looks amazing."

I will tomorrow. I saw the stamping. Didn’t take a pic though.
Looks like it sold for a reasonable price, especially considering it was at BJ and some other Z/28’s went for significant dollars more.

Normal striping on a red 69 Z was black. My, however, has a white vinyl top, and so has white stripes. So would a yellow Z with a white vinyl top have white stripes?

Always black with Daytona yellow, regardless of the top color.
