Default 70 ss bumper pad

I have a bumper and a pad that I want to use as a wall hanger. Is there an exact measurement for the pad on the bumper or is it just centering it between the taillights. The original one I have on my car is not exactly centered. Thanks. Mark

Best to just center it with your eye & make alignment/reference marks with painters tape.

Instead of using glue, you can drill the bumper and use short sheet metal screws to attach the pad. Double sided tape will work also.

I used the 3m super weather stripping adhesive and it seems to hold like a rock. Looked up a few videos on how to apply and not much needed at all. More is not always better. I'll let you guys know in 10 years if its still holding.
