Can someone decode this engine suffix? I could not find ELG?

EL is the suffix code. G is assembly plant ( Framingham) I believe

The G appears to be with the vin group, not the assembly date group.
What vin would have a G for manufacture location ?

Ahh makes sense out if a 1966 chevelle 360hp powerglide car.

Ahh makes sense. Its a 66 chevelle 396 360hp PG car. Motor was in the garage car was outside covered with a tarp for the last 30 years. Really sad the shape the car is in. Owner said it was an original L78 car. Roof skin was almost rusted through.

G122057 is the partial vin (Framingham car). Does that match the car that is there?

I tried to confirm but the dam door was rusted shut. Car is in real bad shape. The owner said it was numbers matching. All I had was his word.

Nobody lies about something like that Jason. If the owner said it was. Then I’m sure it’s so.

Engine was in a mid February build, did you get a look at the trim tag for the date and manufacturing plant?
