Default '67 L88 intake

Don't know if anyone needs one of these, but I would think it may be pretty rare.

----352 area code is Gainsville Fl. yet the add says Bowling Green Ky. Don't know if that's a red flag or not......Bill S

I have bought quite a few things from Crane's Performance in the past with good results. They are out of Florida. The true 67 L88 intake had the numbers 3885069 and 3886093 cast into it. I have heard some say the 3919851 intake is 68 L88 but to my knowledge 68-69 L88 engines both used the 3933198 intake. Also the date looks like 9/21/67 to me. Maybe early 68 L88? I have always thought the 851 intake was marine or crate engine.

I hadn't thought of it before, but you are right about the 851 not being a production line intake. I should have known better because I actually have one of these. I think mine also has a '67 date on it. I think they were used on crate engines.
