Default 4 Cylinder 153

I found this in a local paper(CT) for anyone interested. "69 Chevy Nova Engine/trans, rare 153 cubic inch, 4cyl., needs to be rebuilt. (860)223-7854 or (860)997-4709 cell (2X)" No price was given so please give me a free pass on that. I've never seen one of these in a Nova. It seems like you might need two hooked together

I heard they were much better than the 6 cyl.

The 4-banger was available through '70, unique to say the least.

In Highschool,a friend had a 4Cyl in a Nova.We use to skeech off the back bumper in the wintertime.
The engine was so weak,2 of us would literally hold the car back at WOT.
Good times..

Yup, a friend bought one new, 4 cyl. and 'TorqueDrive' transmission, which if I remember correctly was like a shift-it-yourself Powerglide or something
