Default 1963 - 409 complete long block

1963 409 long block. 3830814 casting, dated 340th day of 1962. TOI2IQG stamp on pad (340 HP), VIN not visible, Hydraulic cam. Hi performance 3814690 heads dated 346 and 351. Dripper valve covers. Includes 8755797 water pump dated 02858. Took out to install a date code correct assembly. Ran fine when removed. Located in north central IL. 815/985-3664 or [email protected] 881 intake available for $375 additional.

Jake, not that it matters, but with a Julian casting date of 340, the block was cast on Dec 6th, 1962. If it had been cast that late in '63, it would have been a 422 '64 block.
In fact, the 422 blocks entered production in mid March '63.

Pricing for individual components as follows - all pricing is plus shipping from IL unless you want to pick up:



Complete 814 short block with oil pan, timing cover, and balancer - standard bore, no welding done, one sleeve $2,900

Complete assembled 690 heads with rockers, pushrods and head bolts $2,800

881 Intake manifold with oil fill tube and loose oil splash cover - $375

Dripper valve covers $350

Water pump $25
