I remember that black '70 when it was for sale.... and thinking that the shifter and floor hole looked funky, along with the right side of the speedometer area (where a clock might be).

I noticed that too. The shifter should be offset, like a bench seat car, with the bezel that wraps down the side of the tunnel. Nice car regardless!
