As per the SCR, and I guess this site as a whole, yes, we have branched out to include lots of other makes, models, and yes, pro-touring, but IMO, this has helped in the tremendous growth the club has enjoyed. I love the Supercars as much as anyone, obvious by my dedication to the club and SCR for the past 12 years, but as with many other members, I enjoy what is considered non Supercars, AKA, “Red Alert”. I have done my best to balance the two, and in my humble opinion, have done a decent job.

I hope everyone will sit back and not say something they will regret later, instead let the parties involved sort though, and hopefully work things out, where we can all enjoy our hobby as one.

Wasn't meant to be Funny. Seems thats where this show has been heading. Just calling it as i see it, different strokes for different folks. I recall years ago that this show was to be all about Supercars of the Past and maybe some more present. Certainly not Pro touring cars and the Unusual circus cars. Didn't think i had to travel half way cross the country to see what i can go to the local book stand and thumb through the Latest HOT ROD mag and find. Just calling it as i see it. This is just MY OPINION and iam sure there are alot of fine people on this board that want to see this stuff and who am i to Judge.

Brian..I have brought a Pro-Touring car to the Reunion maybe twice ? When I did it was because the car was already in the midwest. I have also brought ZL1,the 67 Pace car, The SuperSnake, a Trans Am convert but you get bugged because I bring a car type you don't like. I have worked my ass off trying to moderate guys like you and figured bringing one of my non Supercars once in awhile wouldn't bother anyone and would be OK. Consider it a job perk if you want. You have seen how many other Pro-Touring cars at the Reunion ? I also ran a rental car down the strip at the reunion so I guess that must have really bugged you also. For those of you reading this that haven't actually been to the reunion, that is about the extent of the Pro-Touring car showings.

I don't know anything about this latest "auto drama"...but, I do know that for me the hobby is all about the people!!! The cars are just an excuse to get together with folks you enjoy spending time with...it's just that simple. I don't care if someone has a COPO or 6 cyl. granny as long as they are genuine and respectful of others.

People first..Cars second!!!

For those of you reading this who have not attended a SuperCar Reunion, here is the list of cars attending SCR11. IMO, still THE “ Super Car Reunion", with a little flavor added in. The non-supercar section, or member rides section, as we like to call it, was added to both this site and the SCR so more members could be an active part of the club. If this site and the SCR were an exclusive club, where membership required owning a "supercar", how many loyal members would we lose? Just a thought.

As we have done for the past 12 years, Rob and I will do our best to get as many "supercars" as possbile to attend SCR, along with a few other cool cars. I have no doubt SCR12 will be another fun event, even if it is just the three of us.

Is there a post somewhere that will explain what you guys are talking about? Looks like I missed something. Is there a problem with guys like me being a member of this site who don't have "Supercars"? If so, I will move on.

This is a tremendous club and site. All of the parties mentioned have made significant contributions, from virtually day one, as have many of the other members, even those who have never owned a "Super Car" by definition.

I would travel to the SCR for any One of the multitude of reasons to participate.

1) The People

2) The Events

3) The Cars

4) etc..

I sincerely hope to see everyone as well as the cool stuff they may bring to SCR12.

Count us in too
