Ontario Camaro Nationals
I took my 68 Z28 to the Ontario Camaro Nationals this past weekend and was very happy with the turnout of 232 camaros at the event. I would like to personally thank Brian Henderson and Fran Roberts along with their wives for bringing the Royal Plum 1967 Yenko/Harrell and the 1969 Silver C.O.P.O . These cars are amazing and a real pleasure for us to see at one of our events.Along with great cars these guys are always willing to answer any questions asked of them . Thanks again it was greatly appreciated to see the cars and meet you guys.

Sorry that I missed you Firez...
It's rare to see a well-done '67 and the Plum Yenko is absolutely gorgeous It was good talking to you Brian...I still smile when I think of your reaction to my initial comment

Re: Ontario Camaro Nationals
Yes the Royal Plum is great looking as is the silver COPO . It was also nice that Brian and Fran did not put their cars through the judging lanes and gave the rest of us a chance at winning something. Two great guys and real pleasure to have them at the show.

Re: Ontario Camaro Nationals
We had a great time in Canada. The Pens winning the cup Friday night was the perfect way to start the weekend. Gary Kilbride the VP of the Ontario CC and the other members do a great job with their show. The weather was perfect and there was a very strong turnout. There were @10 2010 Camaros in attendance in many colors. It was great meeting some of the sYc Canadian members. Zedder and Hylton it was good to meet you both. Here are a few highlights..BKH

Re: Ontario Camaro Nationals
I love this picture. It shows multiple staples on the inner skirts. One Yenko we restored also had twice as many as needed. One judge told me I should have fixed that mistake. I really don't consider that a mistake, its more of a fingerprint to me...BKH |

Too many people restore these cars as perfect museum pieces and not how they were actually built on the line. It is called history and that needs to be retained to a degree. I restore them as I find them. Great pictures Brian and thanks for sharing.

Re: Ontario Camaro Nationals
That is true about these cars. I had my LOS 1968 Z at the show and had at least 10 guys tell me my car was painted wrong because I had painted the wiper cowl white to match the way it was before the car was restored.. Trying to explain this is how LOS 1968 Z28s were done compared to Norwood cars was impossible with some guys. Everybody seems too know better even if they had not seen the car before restoration.
