Default '67 GTO Convertible, Factory Bench Seat, Nice Paper, Sitting Since '77

First time I've ever seen a '67 with an original bench seat. At first I thought this was a manual column shift car, but I now see it's a TH400.... Not my favorite combo, but has to be rare.

Seen a lot worse for the $20k/obo ask. Original paint and top, too.

No problem for most of us here...it’s a 50 year old car....

I realize that, I just think that after a car has its qtrs replaced its less valuable IMHO
VERY few can do a qtr panel replacement correctly , again,,all me opinion,,I do like your posts,,

I think it's absurd to believe that a car with new quarters is somehow worth less...especially when you have guys like Chris White and Rick Nelson who can install the quarter using the same process as GM did.

This GTO is back up for sale in the link below, this time at no reserve...bidding is strong, already over $15k.

I have had many cars with 1/4's replaced, never bothered the buyer

I agree that quarters can be replaced correctly. I also agree that most of the ones I see aren’t done optimally, esp those done back in the day. Right or wrong, it’s a buzzkill for me-my “keepers” have always had original quarters.

I would get that running, clean it up good and drive as is.
