I think I will pick one of these up. Was Mobil oil correct at the bottom of that sticker? I just dont remember them back then like I do now. Quakerstate, standard, etc, I remember working as a kid back in the day at gas stations....

Guessing that isn't an authorized reproduction. Doesn't Stefano B own the rights to the Nickey name? Or is it just the "NICꓘEY" name?

Interesting ... the OP claims to have "found" these on eBay ... what's interesting about that you ask? The OP is located in Boucherville Quebec, same city the eBay ad is coming from.

Coincidence? I'll let you decide

So funny story. I met a guy 20 years ago in 2003 that told me he had a book of these. We talked and we were both going to Super Chevy in Joliet, IL so we met up. He wanted to sell me he whole book for what would be pennies now but for some reason I elected to buy just a couple (which I still have). Well, he listed them individually on ebay and people bought them and all of the sudden they were repopped like crazy. So, the moral of the story is YES, it's my fault that these are repopped today. A legendary collector told me once, if you see another just buy it because if someone else has it, it's not as cool....

Here is a pic I took with my "old school" digital camera of the book at Super Chevy in 2003. By the way, they are dated 1966 on the back.

Frank, that's a great photo. I still have your Chicagoland Nortell Olds emblem on my tool box.
