Default X33 vs X77

Just watched a Coffee Walk with Dennis Collins on YouTube. He said Norwood Z/28 were X77, and Van Nuys Z/28 were X33. Now we all know that's not true, but he said it will such confidence, that some might believe it.

Most of the time, his videos are about purchases of Mustangs or Jeeps, so he probably knows a lot more about them, than he does about other makes. I've been watching them as an avenue to learning more about early Mustangs and Shelbys. However, for me, it draws into question, anything he says.

Just watched his latest video, found a one owner 72 Z28, minutes from my house in Burrillville RI. Scuncio Chevrolet car, low miles, sold by Bob Johnson, high performance manager of Scuncio who owned and raced my 68.

It's a cool story, I knew the car, I remembered the plate vividly from back in the 70s and 80s. Never knew the car was a couple of miles away from me.

Dennis humbly admitted he didn't know about Scuncio,...but got the lesson from 427King in CT, what that dealership was all about.

I called him on the X33 X77 thing but no reply. He messed up some info in a Kawasaki KZ900 he found about a year ago but you cant know everything and he needs to pump out content. Frustrating how much bad info is floating around regarding first gens. Tried to buy the KZ at auction but it went for too much.

I bought a KZ900 new in Spring of 1975. Have a picture of it here somewhere.
