Default #s '67 Z, $125k

Cool car. The seller (Bob Harris) calls this one 'driver quality' which makes me wonder how it looks in person, but the pics make it appear very clean.

Should there be a "Y" after the trim code for headrests? Also, Z comes after the trim code which I believe are standard buckets. Overall nice car that someone can drive and enjoy!

Yes, there should be a Y for headrests instead of the Z. I have a 67 Camaro that also has a Z yet has factory headrests. I wonder if this is some kind of factory error. My car has an 06E build date.

He calls the engine, the "correct 302" So the engine pad is a restamp?? He doesn't say born with or factory original engine but also doesn't acknowledge it as a restamp but shows a nice close up picture. If that is the case, it is kind of deceiving to me. Put it on BaT. It'll bring big bucks the more it's called out the more it will bring! Now if that is the born with engine then I retract everything I just said

In the hobby for 30 or 40 years, but still posting front pad picture with paint? Also why not post it as a born with block or decked and re-stamped?

I think you are right on "I See Cars" and "BAT" websites. The few times I have been there, they bid cars to the moon that are clear re-stamps because they have nice paint. Pretty funny. D

Guessing Jerry's report would state his opinion re: original or restamp. Jerry usually refers to a restamp as a "restoration" engine. Frankly, I believe he is being too kind. I think that is a bit of fall out from the Corvette world, where they just don't seem to care that much if it is a restamp.

If that is a born with motor, then I think $125k MAY be under the money, assuming it is mostly original body panels. As has been noted, that trim tag says a lot. How did it get so beat up without the firewall getting a nick or dent?
