CY 400 turbo question
I recently purchased a 1970 LS6 CY Transmisson case with partial vin and GM of Canada Docs. I know the internals are different than standard 400’s. My question is about a 73 Z28 CY Transmisson. Would all of the internals be the same as a 1970 CY Transmisson? Thanks Steve

One was behind an 11.25 to 1 compression 454/450HP,the other a neutered 9 to 1 compression 350/245HP.
I would imagine the bands, drums, sprags, clutch packs, valve body, and Vacuum Modulator are all different between the two. Not to mention their shift points and Governor. |

I’ve been talking to a few people about this and they seem to think the governor, and valve body would be the same for the high shift point. It seems they also still used the 6 lug 2400 high performance torque converter. Any other people have some input?
