Wow...I'm speechless!! (for the record that's not very often.haha) Thanks everyone for the best wishes and especially to You Dan. You are truly an amazing friend. I am confident we will find that special replacement. It was a great 21 years as it's been an amazing car!! Thanks again everyone.

Sheet metal is cheap and plentiful for that car.
Crazy not to fix it. Guys panic over roofs...

Really not that big of a deal.

that car has been listed and resisted and sold and resisted and sold and resisted many, many times

It is in the general area if anyone needs a pair of eyes on it ... I have have my 70 Z28 for 40 years ... in hibernation on jack stands for 18 or so now ... :-(

Jim's right on as my first thought was fix the car too, especially so after a 21 year relationship!
If car being paid out by insurance, best ask for a keep the car/lesser payout amount?
