That was my friend Brian's car. He was happy with the sale price. I saw it at his house several years ago and although I have minimal knowledge of Corvettes, it sure looked nice to me.

This Inca Silver 57 Bel Air convertible is a 250 horse fuelie with a Powerglide. Roy Reichenbach has owned this car since '88. He is the third owner and it had under 17K miles on it when he purchased it. It had been repainted and some paint work had been done under the hood, but it was otherwise in fairly original condition. Roy had it restored by Curt Austin and the car was completed in '93. It was bid to $130K but didn't sell. It still looks very good for a car that was restored 30 years ago.

This Cranberry Red 70 Chevelle SS convertible is an L78 car with an M21 and 4.10 gears that was sold new at Garage Florent Begin Ltd. in Lac Etchemin Quebec according to its GM of Canada documentation. There was no mention of the drivetrain being original to the car so I'm assuming it wasn't, but according to the paperwork it is an original L78 car. It was for sale on the Legendary Motorcar Site for a while before coming to Indy. It hammered for $192.5K.

This Fathom Blue 70 Chevelle SS convertible is an LS5 car with A/C and an M22 that was sold new at Sausman Chevrolet in Lemoyne PA. From looking at some vintage pictures of this car it appears that the cowl induction hood was added when the car was restored. This car was also for sale on the Legendary Motorcar Site before coming to Indy. It hammered for $200K.
