Sweet little '54 Austin Healy Model 104 fresh out of restoration . She has a retractable windscreen. It was touted as capable of reaching 100 mph - but the windscreen had to be retracted !!! You may recognize the owner. He is known to lurk about this here website!

Nice Sam!

Mike's GTO looks killer

Maybe next time....

I talked with the owner of this 72 Formula 350, he has owned it for 24 years. He was picking up restoration parts before he ships it to his home in Hawaii ... He had the window sticker still, unopened owners manuals, ownercard, etc. Fairly rare 4 speed posi, a/c, etc, $1200+ worth of options when new, ~ $4600 sticker price ...

Damn lurkers and their foreign jobs...what has the world come to?

Great pics, Sam. Oh, I think I hampered your vintage sports car tutorial- it is a 100/4, which sounds like 104 but that's more like a thermometer reading in Phoenix Technically, it is a Healey One Hundred, and badged as a "100/4" ie 100 MPH+/ 4 Cylinders. This one has the 100M LeMans kit (ram air, big carbs on alloy intakes, big cam, "high" compression 8.6:1 pistons, special exhaust, special distributor), so I think she'll do 107-112 MPH given enough road...if I duck below the windscreen

Sorry we missed you too, Bruce- and sorry I missed Dale with the Cord in the photos- I love that car, been on a few rallies with it and he cruises at 100MPH in that thing! Front wheel drive, pre-selector vacuum shifted trans, very cool pre-war technology.

Bruce, don't skip next week. My folks are coming out for a visit (first ever) and we are going to drag them over there.
Should be interesting.

Colin
