WIW '67 L79 El Camino
Opinions on market value?
L79 CE block, original M20 with VIN stamped on case, original 3.73 12 bolt. ORIGINAL POP. A few options including gauges with proper 6K redline tach. BC/CC ten years ago, restored from the firewall forward, from firewall back is original CA rust free. Many Chevelle Regional awards, MCACN L79 Invitational 2015, Best EC NOCC and Can/Am Chevelle shows. Thank you for your thoughts! Bill W (Not to be confused with a virtual twin offered by StreetSide Charlotte in 2015) |

Man, I love 60s El Caminos. I use the heck out of my 68. I was hoping to find a good rust free 66 or 67, but never did. Haven't even painted mine yet; still hot rod black.
This one has everything going for it. 4 speed bench seat L79. I wish I were more in tune with El Camino prices. Sadly, they bring much less than the Chevelles; maybe 2/3 the price of a comparable Chevelle; maybe even a little less. I am probably not qualified to even give you a number, but I would say $30-35k. But you really need someone much more in tune with El Camino values. I could be way off.

Very very Cool, I agree with Lynn it has everything going for it !!! But El Caminos can be hard to price. But 2/3 the price of a comparative Chevelle is usually how I figure them. I tried to buy a beautiful frame off 65 L79 Elco at Mecum Harrisburg a few years ago that sold for $43,000. If this was for sale a few month's ago I'd be all over this ! and I would probably pay to much !!! I love it

Nice Elky. I wouldn't be surprised to see that bring mid to high $30K! With the big push and $$$ on pick ups now, this would have been brought up with them.
I would love to have a '68-'72 SB Chev with AC as a summer driver/work truck (on nice days, drive to different jobsites and houses for quoting)! Just can't justify the prices these things are bringing now. So probably going to look around (after the whoflu goes away and boarder is open for a while) for a nice '72 or earlier Elky, '78/79 Lil Red Express or a SS454 truck.
