Default '70 Firebird Esprit 350/4-sp, Unmolested

Looks to be a clean original car with a nice color combo. Bidding is pretty strong already, at nearly $20k with the reserve not yet met.

Major style points deducted for Mastercraft tires...ugh. Crappy pics, too, but that seems to be par for the course these days....

I consider Mastercraft tires as strictly rollers. The saving grace here is no vinyl top.

Driver's side fender is a 73-up replacement.

It's getting pretty hard to find white letter radial tires for a 14-inch rim. When I had too get new ones for my car, basically my choices were Coopers or BF Goodrich. I opted for the T/A's and their insta-brown "white" letters.

A quick cure for the browning of the letters is a quick wipe with lacquer thinner....works like magic and causes no harm.

I'll try that out this weekend. Bleach White didn't even touch it. SOS pad helped a little. Thanks Paul!
