 Built to be a competitive race car it was anything but. Due to the heavy Hemi in the rear the car always lifted the front end dramatically - something the fans loved. Instead of scrapping the idea George Hurst used the car as an exhibition wheel stander and the rest is history.

  2 promotional photos of a pre-production 1969 Cuda 340. Notice on the lower front fender it says MOPAR instead of CUDA. The car also has the "recall" wheels so these photos were taken prior to their cancellation on Sept. 13, 1968.
