Unread Posts Feature

Is it possible to add a feature that when clicking on a thread it will automatically take you to the first unread post of the thread? A few other websites I use have this feature and it avoids the need to go through the older posts and pages that you have already read to search for the first unread post.

I'm aware of the search feature for new posts and new threads, but what I am asking is slightly different.

Isn't what you're asking for achieved by clicking on 'Last Page' of a thread instead of Title?

Clicking on the little blue check mark just before the title of the thread works like that for me.
