Default '66 L79 Chevy II, P-O-P

Beautiful car, great colors, and docs. Interesting revelation about the engine restamp having been stamped with the wrong numbers. While the partial VIN characters do appear different than other '66 L79 block stampings I've seen, the restamp in general is pretty well executed. Scary stuff....

Great under car shot of the the V8 Chevy II front sump oil pan for those that might be unaware. Many unique features on the 283/327 blocks in these particular cars.

The restamped pad makes me question the whole car. The Holley stamp looks interesting too. Think he would have disclosed the block stamp if it matched the POP?
