Default '58 Corvette, not what the wife expected

This auction is worth viewing just to read the description.

In reality, this looks like a pretty decent 1970s Day 2 C1 with a ton of potential, even if it has a totally gross interior. Guessing the interior was probably the last straw with the wife.

Don't ever recall seeing what appears to be a mid year shifter installed in a solid axle car.
