Couple friends have been on me about not driving the 69 since I've bought a couple other cars in the last year. Got it out today and cleaned it up this afternoon and took a few pics to post but I can't load any even though they are less than 1500x2500, what am I doing wrong???

This is a frustration to me as well, I email them from one account to another and my I phone asks me what size I want to send them as... I pick medium, then save them, and then there are two copies on my camera roll so I pick the second copy and it will load to the site. There has to be an easier way but I hate those picture sites as later on all the pictures go missing and old threads lose a lot of usefulness.

Hopefully this works, I'm an idiot when it comes to technology. Think I figured it out and understand how pictures end up sideways.

The third owners Uncle Dave Fuchs, who painted the car back in the 70's found this picture today and sent it to me. Said it was taken in Watertown, WI a couple years after he painted it. Thank for the pleasant surprise Dave

The orange/orange Dale Chevrolet COPO has returned to Wisconsin for good.... After 25 years or more searching for this car, I still can’t believe it’s is in my garage.... Thanks Chad and Kandy, I will give it a good home...

There are at least two more known Dale 9561 cars; N650469 Garnet Red and N650526 Fathom Green. Both 4-speeds with consecutive body numbers. People that worked there believe there were 8 total. They acquired two ZL1s directly from Fred Gibb; #7 and #49. Both still with us. They also sold two JL8 Z/28s: orange/orange [briefly owned] and a yellow/yellow RS. Orange car is not known, yellow car in GA last I knew.

All that in addition to many Z/28s, L78 Chevelles and Camaros. Also did a few "Dale Duster" 427 conversions. At one time, the largest Corvette dealership in the US. For 1970, they were a Yenko franchisee. They also sponsored a few race cars.

When Chad and Kandy acquired the COPO in 2015, I introduced them to the original owners. We attempted to drum up some interest in putting together the history of the dealership. One of the sons is still with us as are several mechanics. They are well along in their years, memories have faded. The dealership buildings are long gone, now a vacant food store.

My opinion, Dale Chevrolet should be right up there with Berger, Nickey et al as a legendary Chevrolet performance dealership.
