I have some customer work to get through before I can putz with the TA. In the mean time, here are some additional pics of the car from back in it's Day 2 livery. The first #7 soak is completed with more to come along with gentle cleaning. Thanks for the kind words everyone!

This is thought to be Wayne in front of his house

The shed Wayne built for the car

Couple of car show shots

And a later driveway shot. May have to think about getting a set of Keystone's and slicks!

Very cool story!

I've been to Port Elgin many, many times - as a kid. My Dad worked at Bruce in the mid 70s and had my car there in the summers - we used to go and stay at the cottage in Tiverton for the whole summer when I was a kid... thanks for the flood of memories.

Here and there this week, I have been fiddling with the TA. I got on top of the cold start transition issue with the carb, as well as solving (I think) the engine run on.

I also had a chance to get it on the hoist and look around. Once I get cleaning on this car, I really think it is going to respond well. Here is what I found..........

Remaining evidence from when the car was raced and flat towed. The tail light harness plug the Wayne made and wired in as well as the remaining welds from the tow bar mounts.

Wayne had a Liberty transmission in the car (hence why the original case survived) and obviously a big shifter.

I completed the first phase of chassis cleaning today. It is turning out much like I had expected. I still have more cleaning to do, and then follow up with Boshield to protect everything.
