You make me feel like a slacker. I did get a new arm rest installed on the driver's door of my Opel GT today.

That’s not slacking! That’s called progress, Lynn! Every little step forward helps! I’ve been fortunate with vacation all month and a great schedule last month, but that’s going to change starting on Thanksgiving when I start training. So now I’m enjoying bouncing between the Cuda and truck before I go into hibernation

More to come!

Cheers
Dave

Welp, it's official! Every last part of the Flamin' Ford is painted exactly on time to the deadline I created for myself... for some unknown reason.... before leaving for MCACN tomorrow! It's 100% painted! Woohoo!

When I get back I'll be spraying the backsides of the fenders with Raptor berliner. Now, time for some sleep since we've got an early flight tomorrow!

Cheers
Dave

We're moving into the final stages! Been a crazy busy last month what with work and stuff, but I'm happy to report she turns over! I'll add the fluids the weekend and get her running again!

Fenders are Raptor bedliner coated for easy cleaning because I fully expect Rick to go mudding in this rig! But besides that, they look pretty nice. I'll do the underside if the cab once I cab get it over to the lift. A couple more things to do and I can reassemble for the last time! This pic shows the front end just mocked up to verify that big '53 radiator clears the hood and it does with no problem.

Off to work again... more to come!

Cheers
Dave

Thanks Guys!! Rick came into town yesterday and we assembled the rest of the remaining sheetmetal. I started the truck up yesterday and it fired right up! Not much left to do and Rick will take it back and finish the interior and trim! 7 months after I got it, it goes back. Very exciting!

Cheers
Dave
