Rob, I just bought a Comp Cams 3863143 replacement cam for my L78. Specs all look to be identical to the GM cam. Part number is 11-106-3. What do you think? Are these not any good? Thanks Mike

Rob...Are they going to be American made, using American cores? If so, I am in for 1.

I'm not in a hurry, but I would buy one to save for the future.

As with the rest of the non-GM/Crane 143, the specs might *look* the same on paper, but the lobe is different...Jim proved this on a cam doctor. A few of us Pure Stock guys have tried other brands, and we all went back to the GM/Crane unit...

As Darren said above, this will be American made, and each one is gonna be held to super tight tolerances.
