Default Cowl Induction Frame Screw Size?

Does anyone know the size of the screws that bolts the cowl induction frame to the hood on a 69 camaro. Need to pick some up today.

Hey Steve,

sure thing. Typical headmarkings are J, L and RBW.

Definitely 6-24. Here is the set Rick's sells, but they don't say whether they are technically correct. I removed some from a pace car 25 years ago, and they were allen head, but no way of knowing if they were originals, as the car was already 16 years old.

We ended up using 8-32 screws in an NPD 69 camaro reproduction cowl hood.

Maybe the repro hoods have 8-32 threads but original hoods have 10-24 threads. Glad you got what you needed.
