Default Mounting Air Tank inside Enclosed Trailer

Hi All,

Anyone has experience mounting an air tank (10 gal tire inflation tank) inside an enclosed trailer? The idea is to mount it to a welded machine table which will be bolted to the trailer floor as well as to two studs in the side wall.

Mounting it is the easy part, more concerned with keeping air in the tank while using the trailer (long hauls for tire pressure and in case we need an impact gun roadside) and trailer box temperature. I don’t think the trailer will ever get hot enough to cause an issue and with the tank secured I should not have an issue their either. Just curious what others do.

Anyone have compressors or air tanks in their trailers? Would love to see some pics of your setups.

Just for info the vision is to have the air tank removable from the machine table either via bolts/nuts or clevis pins.

Thanks,
Dave

Small compressor inside mounted with long hoses to reach from front of truck to past trailer or beyond.
